Earlier this week,
Microsoft unveiled
Microsoft 365, a new offering that brings
together Office 365, Windows 10 and Enterprise
Mobility and Security. Microsoft 365 is the
beginning of a fundamental shift in how we will
design, build and cater to our customers’ needs
in the workplace.
Microsoft is offering
two platforms,
Microsoft Business 365 and
Microsoft Enterprise 365. The differences
between the two are in the services provided in
each bundle. For example, Microsoft 365
Enterprise users will have access to a version
of Windows 10 Enterprise, while Microsoft 365
Business will have access to Windows 10
Professional. Both bundles will have access to
Office 365 accounts for their employees along
with Enterprise Mobility and Security services.

numerous connected devices.
As businesses
struggle with growing IT complexities, they are
faced with significant technology gaps when it
comes to security.

Can Your Company Benefit from a Virtual CIO? |

A
vCIO, or virtual CIO, serves as an
organization's Chief Information Officer who
understands how to leverage technology as a
business enabler. The vCIO manages the
organizations technology and develops a forward
looking strategic IT plan by taking a broad view
of the client, focusing on business and
IT alignment.
Most small and
midsize business (SMB) organizations find it
difficult to justify having a CIO on staff.
Consequently, executive ownership for IT falls
with other leaders who most likely do not have
the time nor the expertise to develop a
Strategic IT Plan, create an IT investment
plan/budget and manage the organization’s IT
initiatives.
