Winxnet’s other solutions – especially Application Development and SharePoint services – also saw strong growth. In 2012, Winxnet added accomplished professionals to lead the Application Development, CIO and Healthcare IT teams. 2012 brought a record number of new customers and the four largest contracts ever for Winxnet, including relationships with the federal government and some of Maine’s largest and most prestigious healthcare organizations.
Business growth and momentum drove Winxnet to earlier this month relocate its Portland, ME corporate headquarters to a nearby location with double the square footage. This latest expansion follows the 2012 opening of an office in Boston, MA, where demand for the firm’s services continues to be strong.
The proximity of Winxnet’s Boston office to Microsoft’s Cambridge campus also supported the deepening of the company’s relationship with Microsoft. Already the only Microsoft Managed Partner in Northern New England, in January 2013 Winxnet became one of only three fully-qualified Microsoft Experience Center (MEC) delivery partners in the entire Northeast.
