Winxnet Expands Management Team to Support Rapid Growth
Increased market demand for key solutions, including custom software, SharePoint, health IT, and managed IT services fuels new VP hire and promotion of executives

PORTLAND, Maine – February 26, 2014 — Winxnet, a Portland, Maine based IT outsourcing and consulting firm that meets the complete technology needs of private and public sector organizations, today announced a Vice President of Sales and Marketing hire and five executive promotions. The moves came as a result of the firm’s accelerating growth and the desire to expand leadership and decision rights to those who are closest to market and client needs.

Rachel Justice joins Winxnet as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and will provide strategic direction and management of the business development, sales and marketing teams. Rachel brings more than 20 years of information technology business development, sales and consulting experience, having worked for Dell/Perot Systems, McKesson's Provider Technologies group and SAS Institute. Her ability to mentor and lead teams and her strong process and sales management skills are important assets to the organization and will enable Winxnet to continue on its impressive growth trajectory.
Curtis Henderson has been elevated to Chief Technology Officer. Curtis is a Winxnet shareholder and has played many critical roles for the organization since he joined in 2000. As CTO, Curtis’ primary responsibility is assuring the successful execution of Winxnet’s business mission through the development, deployment, and oversight of the organization’s technology stack. This includes envisioning service offerings, evaluating and implementing tools to support the business, owning critical technical issues, and supporting the planning for business growth.
Jaimie Rowe has been named Senior Vice President and General Manager. Jaimie joined Winxnet in 2013 as Operations Manager. As GM, he will drive the planning, coordination, and management of all business operations. Jaimie will also provide leadership to the firm’s senior managers and collaborate with the managing partners to set strategic direction.
Tony Converse has been promoted to Vice President of Strategic Consulting. Tony joined Winxnet in 2008 and has been a leader in the firm’s Systems and Architecture group and Health IT practice. He also serves as a Virtual CIO to a number of Winxnet clients. In his new role, he will have formal leadership responsibility for the Virtual CIO and Healthcare IT Consulting groups which form the Strategic Consulting Practice at Winxnet.
Amanda Downing has been appointed Vice President of SharePoint Consulting. Amanda joined the firm in 2010 and was instrumental in the growth of Winxnet’s SharePoint practice. In her new role, she will have formal leadership responsibility for the firm’s Microsoft Gold Certified SharePoint team and for developing service offerings and driving the growth of Winxnet’s SharePoint Solutions Group.
John Kitonis joined Winxnet in 2012 to lead a small team of developers and DBAs. With this promotion, John becomes Winxnet’s Vice President of Application Development, SQL & Web and continues his leadership of the now greatly expanded custom software, database and website development teams. As a VP, he takes on additional responsibility for formalizing and expanding service offerings and driving the growth of these solutions in existing and new markets.
