Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
As the fastest-growing server product in the history of Microsoft, SharePoint is a core focus of the Winxnet team. We have been working with SharePoint since 2001 and are experts at helping organizations realize the full potential of what SharePoint has to offer.
Winxnet’s SharePoint team is made up of business consultants, SharePoint configuration experts, SQL Server experts and .NET developers. We understand that there is more to getting SharePoint up and running than installing the software. As SharePoint experts, we can share our knowledge of how different organizations have solved problems like yours related to document management, content management, and collaboration.
In addition to our SharePoint expertise, we believe that excellent project management combined with clear communication leads to successful projects. Our project managers will work with you to understand your business needs and ensure that your entire team is working toward your goal.

SharePoint is such a broad and deep application that it can be a sure business win or become shelf ware quickly. Over the years we have learned several key factors that lead to successful SharePoint projects:
- User acceptance is the key. No SharePoint project will ever be successful if the end users don’t use it. Our SharePoint experts assemble a team of business and technical users to set policies, procedures and guide the ongoing deployment. (Don’t ‘set it and forget it’)
- SharePoint is not an IT initiative. Successful SharePoint projects are driven by business need and sponsored by senior business staff.
- Start with a pilot project. Confirm that your SharePoint strategy is right for your organization. SharePoint is a great tool, but it is not always the right tool for every situation.
- Use a phased deliverable approach. This approach ensures that the focus is on demonstrating SharePoint’s value early in the process, by breaking the rollout up in to smaller projects that can be delivered faster.
- Remove the “IT Middle Man”. Put the content owners in charge of their own content. IT’s role in SharePoint is purely technical. IT should ensure that the system is fully functional, resourced appropriately to handle the demand, secured and protected. IT should not own updates to SharePoint content, this responsibility should lie with the content owners.
