Town of Wells, Maine [Case History]
Known to many as “the friendliest town in Maine,” the town of Wells required an IT solution in order to come into 100% compliance with the State through upgraded operating and messaging systems and lower hardware costs. As a result, Winxnet partnered with Wells to provide a full range of IT support for all of the town departments, including the Police and Fire departments, town hall, and library.
After a thorough examination of Wells’ IT environment and specific municipality needs, Winxnet was able to rebuild the town’s IT department and start projects to deliver added functionality, including upgraded messaging and operating systems. By fixing the Wells network, Winxnet brought the municipality into compliance with content filtering and lowered its hardware costs.
