When the Chief-of-Staff for Senator Susan Collins was preparing his plan for the Senator’s re-election, he knew he needed a more effective way for their offices in Maine and Washington, D.C. to plan, collaborate and coordinate despite the fact they did not share the same office space. He also needed a way to include other organizations and individuals providing support to the campaign. They had been trying to manage the process with email, but it was disorganized and in-effective.
WinXnet took the time to understand their needs and security concerns and only after close consultation with the Chief-of-Staff did WinXnet recommend using Sharepoint. WinXnet built their Sharepoint site based on their organizational and security needs so certain information could be shared with specific individuals. The Sharepoint installation for the Collins for Senator team is now used by individuals and organizations from 4 states.
