Winxnet creates integration solution to support Medicare data submission requirements.
MAINE, March 1, 2011 — The Medicare Reimbursement System upgrade requires agencies offering Medicare Part D enrollment assistance to change their data submission procedures. One such agency, Lewiston-based Seniors Plus, contracted with Winxnet to develop a .Net application to convert data for Seniors Plus data into a usable format to meet the new Medicare requirements for Maine's Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Portland-based Winxnet, a provider of application development software services, evaluated Senior Plus’s data processing environment against the new requirements and developed a .net application that creates and processes new Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) in a practical format. Debra Parry, Director of Finance of Seniors Plus, has seen the benefits, and finds the solution easy to maintain and update.
