Winxnet designs a project for EMHS to boost site resiliency and availability
MAINE, May 17, 2011 — With over 10,000 mailboxes collecting information relevant to medical care, Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS) requires consistent site availability and resiliency. Portland-based Winxnet has developed a design for EMHS for the three-site Microsoft Exchange 2010 upgrade. The healthcare organization is upgrading from Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to Exchange Server 2010. With this upgrade, the EMHS Exchange environment will be able to withstand multiple failures and continue to deliver the mail.
Winxnet, a leading provider of IT consulting services to health care organizations, evaluated EMHS’ network environment before developing the Exchange project design. Tim Moriarity, EMHS Director of Enterprise Infrastructure, is pleased with the design Winxnet has created. “We are very hopeful for our Winxnet partnership!
