Page Content CIEE Takes a Proactive Approach to IT Support: Chooses Winxnet
After years of successful partnering, CIEE chooses Winxnet’s Managed Services solution for network services support.
MAINE, March 30, 2011 — Organizations that outsource their IT support gain increased cost savings, a return to focus on core business, improved quality, access to talent and innovation, operational expertise, and capacity management. Such is the case with the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), which called on Winxnet to provide IT support. For the last four years Winxnet, a leading provider of consulting, application development, and network services, has managed some data center services for CIEE. The two companies are extending their relationship to have Winxnet provide Managed Services for the non-profit organization’s IT department.
Portland-based Winxnet’s understanding of CIEE’s needs resulted in a comprehensive technology management solution that Winxnet will deliver to CIEE 24 hours-a-day/7 days a week. Says John Kitonis, CIEE CIO, “We have delegated monitoring and maintenance of our key servers to Winxnet, and their service is always excellent. We are very hopeful for our Winxnet partnership!”
Also headquartered in Portland, CIEE will experience many benefits by choosing Winxnet to provide management for its internal IT, including exclusive access to Winxnet’s 24/7/365 remote monitoring system that watches over CIEE’s network devices and applications.
“We’re delighted that CIEE chose to expand its partnership with Winxnet for its broader technology support and strategy needs,” said Chris Claudio, Winxnet’s CEO. “We understand and respond to their needs. This lets CIEE focus on its mission: to help people acquire knowledge and develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.”
