Winxnet administers virtualization solution to support NA Industries, Inc.’s developing facility in Houston.
TENNESSEE, September 21, 2011 —To meet market demands and increase productivity, manufacturing facilities rely on branching out to multiple locations. Such is the case with Chattanooga-based NA Industries, Inc. (NAII), which is expanding its facilities to Houston, Texas. In order to transfer all internal business data, the superabsorbent polymer manufacturer and retailer has called on Winxnet to replicate its virtual servers from Chattanooga to Houston.
Winxnet, a leading provider of consulting, application development and network services, conducted an upfront evaluation to understand NAII’s specific technology needs. Consequently, a virtualization solution was developed which will include the setup of all NAII servers in the new Houston facility and installation of a storage area network (SAN). The SAN will act as an accessible, centralized location for NAII’s data and will provide advanced disk-to-disk protection of and recovery for the new servers.
Winxnet will also be remotely managing NAII’s IT environment and providing onsite help if it is needed. Says Hidetaka Yatagai, NAII President, “Thanks to Winxnet’s proficiency in remote management and understanding our replication needs, we won’t have to worry about losing data or constantly monitoring our key servers.
