Winxnet is recognized as a corporate sponsor of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine.
MAINE, December 20, 2011 — Portland-based Winxnet, a Microsoft Certified Partner and leading provider of software development solutions and systems management proudly sponsors the nonprofit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine (BBBSSM). The company was recently recognized at the BBBSSM “Start Something Big Celebration,” an event held to recognize the organization’s corporate partners and welcome new community support.
With support from sponsors such as Winxnet, BBBSSM is enabled to ensure that children in Southern Maine who are in need of caring mentors are given this opportunity. Its program matches area children - “Littles” - with adult “Bigs” who provide friendship, support and guidance during the critical childhood and adolescent years. In becoming a corporate sponsor, Winxnet is committed to adopting the program as a community service project and encourages its employees to get involved.
Winxnet CEO Chris Claudio is a member of the BBBSSM Board of Directors and strongly believes in not only donating to the charity, but also connecting to it and the local community in sharing the same values. “We are pleased to support BBBSSM in enabling the organization to do what it does best: positively impacting children’s lives and empowering them to discover their potential and find their places in society,” says Claudio.
