NA Industries Inc. – Virtualization Services [Case History]
A reliable manufacturer and retailer of superabsorbent polymer, Chattanooga-based NA Industries, Inc. (NAII) is expanding its facilities to Houston, Texas in an effort to meet market demands and increase productivity. In order to develop this new facility, NAII called on Winxnet to replicate its virtual servers from Chattanooga to Houston. This replication will allow NAII to transfer all internal business data to the new location.
Before developing a virtualization solution to include the setup of all NAII servers in the new Houston facility and installation of a storage area network (SAN), Winxnet conducted an upfront evaluation to understand NAII’s specific technology needs. The SAN will act as an accessible, centralized location for NAII’s data and will provide advanced disk-to-disk protection of and recovery for the new servers. Winxnet will also be remotely managing NAII’s IT environment and providing onsite help.
Because of Winxnet’s proficiency in remote management and understanding of replication needs, NAII will not have to worry about losing data or constantly monitoring its key servers. The centralized virtualization management system will provide multiple benefits for NAII’s IT department, including peace of mind surrounding backup and recovery, a decrease in management burden, and maximization of ROI.
